It has been a few years and now everything is OK so I can share this project. Without the gory details I found myself in need of a total colectomy. It isn’t a surgery that I looked forward to but I did want to have a life. When my surgeon Dr. Sklow (highly recommended) met me in his office to schedule the procedure. He said, “It is on a really good day. It’s my birthday.” So I decided to make him a birthday card. It couldn’t hurt and I wanted him in a good mood. So here is my attempt at a bit of humor before the very effective but painful surgery.
