Folding paper has become a bit of a hobby for me. I found a wonderful book Folding Techniques for Designers: From Sheet to Form
. I have considered myself a 2D artist but this book has opened a lot of interesting possibilities for me. Folding the paper is a delicious experience in touch. If you have any interest in paper folding this book is a great place to begin. My teen age children love the book as well and are actually better folders than I am.
The scans are the same folded artifact just rotated 90°. The light and shadows from the scanner changes the way it looks.
