The Library Visit . . .

This is me with my daughter during story time, at the Madison District Library in Rexburg, Idaho.

I had a great time this morning “reading” my wordless book Unbrella to preschool children for story time at the Madison District Library in Rexburg, Idaho.

There were about 25 children at the reading. I started with a book trailer for Unbrella. I read the wordless book to them by starting a conversation. I ask questions with the most frequent question being, “What do you think will happen next?” The children today were very well behaved and we had a good time. In addition to the conversation about UnBrella, I handed out a coloring page to each of the children. The morning went well and it was a lot of fun.

  1. Good for you. This will be the first of many visits. I always wondered how to read a book with no words.

  2. My books (5) came today and we are so proud of Scott, who is a really cool guy. Congratulations Scott!! Signed-your un-aunt tina
