Summer Break

This is the first week of my summer break | Actually, I am really on medical leave, but calling it summer break is a more hopeful way of looking at it

In my attempt to keep busy this summer I am trying to learn new things and get something constructive done. I don’t have a daily project yet but I am thinking about starting one. It has been a good exercise for me in the past. My favorite one is the A-doodle-a-day project where I did one doodle a day for 109 days in a row. I am good at keeping a project going as long as I don’t miss a day. The first missed day is usually the end of the project. The doodle project was great because it took less than ten minutes each day. Hopefully I can come up with a project soon.

Lynda.com Tutorials

I have been watching tutorials from Lynda.com on using WordPress for the last few days. This has inspired me to make some changes to my website. WordPress 3 Essential Training is the current tutorial tat I am watching. It starts at the beginning and is very inclusive. I am always tempted to skip ahead but if I am patient and watch the whole thing, I always learn something new. I would recommend WordPress 3 Essential Training for anyone interested in learning WordPress. It starts at the very beginning and gets quite advanced.
